Thank you for your patience with Kind Circle! It has been an unexpected time for all of us, filled with learning opportunities, grief, challenges, and some unexpected joy. I am so excited to be seeing patients at Kind Circle starting April, 2022!
At Kind Circle, you receive a unique and personal approach to your health
Here we will focus on the main determinants of health:
- Mindfulness and stress management
- Sleep
- Movement
- Eating with intention
- Finding your purpose
- Creating community
There is an entire evidence-based movement recognizing the importance of these in determining our quality of health and life. And best of all, these are all things within our power to change.
Have you tried – maybe a million times – to make changes in your health, your weight, your stress level? Do you feel like you’ve tried everything and nothing works? Trendy diets, weight loss plans and exercise regimens usually make massive promises about your future success. When that success is not reached are you left feeling like you have failed? We are told it’s our laziness or lack of willpower or the inevitability of our genetics that led to these failures. That we are failures. That is not true. I would argue that the failure is on the part of the program.
Your goals are met with a new approach.
We will look at why you might be making some of the choices you would like to change. We will focus on healing, longevity, peacefulness. We will learn specific skills to address ways of thinking that are no longer serving your goals or purpose. We will find ways to devote less time and energy and thoughts to worrying about food, calculating calories or macros or points, and negative self-talk about prior decisions or our bodies.
